Atul holds the esteemed position of Chief Operating Officer for BWH Hotels India, where he is responsible for overseeing operations in India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.
With a background as a Chartered Accountant, Atul has amassed over 24 years of extensive experience in the hospitality industry. His diverse expertise encompasses hotel operations, in-depth local knowledge, and the requisite qualifications to effectively lead, drive, and support Best Western Hotels & Resorts’ ambitious expansion plans in the region. Drawing from his global perspective cultivated through involvement in finance, operations, and development across various hotel categories, Atul’s vision is to amplify BWH Hotels’ footprint in the region, elevate Best Western’s brand, facilitate consistent growth for developers and investors, and enhance the overall guest experience and service culture.
Prior to assuming his current role, Atul played a key role in the leadership team at Carlson Hospitality Group in India, where he was actively involved in managing the franchise and operations of the “Country Inns & Suites by Radisson” brand, as well as leading the sales and marketing initiatives.
